GROWN.ISH
Grown.ish is a spin-off of the amazing award winning ABC series Blackish.
It follows Zoey Johnson, the eldest daughter of Dre (Anthony Anderson)and Bow Johnson (Tracee Ellis Ross) on her adventures in college. Starring Yara Shahidi , each episode takes on the current issues of students and administrators in the world of higher education. The show also tackle controversial topics.
This show have even been compared to the award winning 90’s sitcom A Different World.
Both of the shows are very similar. A Different World is a spin-off of The Cosby Show. In which follows the second eldest child Denise Huxtable off to her sophomore year at the Ivy league HBC, Hillman.
Black.ish have also been called a modern day Cosby Show following a hard working upper class African-American family.
The show comes on ABC Family hich is now Freeform on Wednesdays at 8 eastern times.
