Update from Zachary Veal: “Calm Saturday, Stormy Sunday!”
TONIGHT: Partly cloudy skies and cool too around Metro Detroit along with both overnight low temperatures only in the middle-to-upper 40s once again, just like last night, and light winds ESE/E at only 5-10 mph.
TOMORROW: A partly cloudy and cool start to your Saturday around Metro Detroit as we will wake up to morning low temperatures starting out in the middle-to-upper 40s. But thankfully, the afternoon hours should warm up rather quickly under partly cloudy skies along with both daytime high temperatures flirting with 70F and light winds ESE at only 5-12 mph.
SUNDAY: The Storm Prediction Center (or aka: SPC) has already placed both Metro Detroit and all of Southeastern Michigan under a Marginal Risk for severe weather (which is Level 1 out of 5 on their scale). The primary threats are both small hail and gusty winds. And the timeframe for these storms looks to be anywhere from 5am and 1pm. So, all eyes will be to the skies, indeed! But otherwise, Sunday afternoon should have daytime high temperatures soaring into the middle-to-upper 70s. So, please stay tuned and also know that umbrellas may be needed to stay both nice and dry as both you and your family commute both to and from both morning church services and brunch.
Enjoy the rest of your “Finally Friday,” Metro Detroit!!
