Update from Zachary Veal: “Flirting with Record Highs Tomorrow!!”
THIS EVENING: Partly cloudy skies and a little bit seasonable too around Metro Detroit on this “Hump Day” evening, or Wednesday evening, along with both temperatures remaining in the middle-to-upper 50s and light winds SE at only 5-10 mph.
TONIGHT: Partly cloudy skies and not as chilly as the last couple of nights thankfully around Metro Detroit along with both overnight low temperatures only in the middle-to-upper 40s and light winds ESE at only 5-10 mph. And we also cannot rule out either a passing shower or thunderstorm mainly in the Thumb area. But it could sink a little south to where the northern communities of both Macomb and Oakland Counties (or between M-59 and I-69) could get into that, but the majority of Metro Detroit should get through the night dry.
TOMORROW: A partly cloudy and cool start to your Thursday around Metro Detroit as we will both get up and get going for either work, for the parents, or for school, for the kids, to morning low temperatures starting out in the middle-to-upper 40s. But thankfully, the afternoon hours should heat up rather quickly under partly cloudy skies along with both a daytime high temperature of 80F (which we, as a side note, will be very close to tying our record high temperature of 82F set back in 1985) and warming breezes S at 7-17 mph, gusting 20-25 mph, at times too!
FRIDAY: Mainly mostly cloudy skies with rain moving into Metro Detroit to round out both this work and this school week along with daytime high temperatures dropping down into the low 60s.
THIS WEEKEND: Saturday is Earth Day 2023, and we will be under mainly mostly cloudy skies with even more rain that could come down pretty good. So, if you are maybe helping out with any Earth Day volunteer stuff, then I’d maybe pack both a rain poncho and an umbrella as you work outdoors while picking up trash as daytime high temperatures will only be in the cool middle 50s. And finally, Sunday as both you and your family commute both to and from both morning church services and brunch, we will be under mainly mostly cloudy skies along with the chance of a wintry mix, in spots, around Metro Detroit as daytime high temperatures will only top out in the upper 40s which is well below average for this time of year.
Enjoy the rest of your “Hump Day,” or Wednesday, Metro Detroit!!
