Our Dakota Leadership 2 class held an event up on our track to promote awareness on driving without distractions. There was events with drunk goggles like playing bags or basketball to represent how hard it is to drive while drunk. Some of our students held an event while playing Mario Kart and texting at the same time. The last events were a driving simulation with driving settings that represent your vision and action while driving drunk on to show how dangerous it truly is. This event was a success and Leadership 2 did a great job with our annual Cougars Cruise Carefully event.
