Disney’s Beauty and the Beast, Jr.
The Macomb Center for the Performing Arts is a staple of the theater community in our town- and they are back with another musical! On March 18th and 19th, you can see Disney’s “Beauty and the Beast” on stage! It’s the junior version, meaning that everyone in the cast is under eighteen, so the experience would be similar to seeing a high school production!
The show itself is put on by a youth theater program called All The Worlds A Stage. This program offers workshops, classes, and productions for children with a passion for the theater arts.
There will be three total showings of the production over the weekend. On Saturday, March 18th, two shows will be done- one starting at 11:00 AM and the other starting at 3:00 PM. The third production takes place the next day, Sunday, March 19th at 2:00 PM.
Tickets can be bought for $17 at the door, or for $14 if you buy them ahead of time using the website linked HERE.
If you’re looking for something to do this weekend that’s not only entertaining, but a way to support youths in the arts, then you should definitely go see “Beauty and the Beast”.
