Food I ate in Paris
Over midwinter break my friend and I traveled to France, Belgium, The Netherlands and England. Over our 10-day long trip we tried different foods and here are a few different things we ate while in Paris. Sadly, we didn’t end up eating much in Paris because we were so busy but what we did eat was delicious.
Pink Mamma
As seen on TikTok, Pink Mamma is a popular Italian restaurant in Paris. The food was reasonably priced, and the vibes were immaculate. I ordered the Crazy Mafalda, which was pasta with tomato sauce, ricotta cheese and stracciatella while my friend ordered the Mammargarita pizza. Both were delicious and we would recommend both. The aesthetic in the restaurant made it an even better experience.
Le Café du Commerce
Café de Commerce is a traditional French restaurant that was recommended by the concierge at our hotel. My friend and I both ordered the Scottish Salmon with potatoes and green beans. We were expecting the salmon to be cooked but to our surprise it was raw. Despite it being raw it was very good. The green beans were seasoned well, and the potatoes added a good starch to the dish. We also decided to get Crème brûlée which was a sweet ending to our dinner.
Yannick Martin
Yannick Martin was a little bakery we found after asking these two girls where they got the macaroon from. My friend and I weren’t 100% what kind of macaroon it was but it looked good so we bought it. It didn’t disappoint. The raspberries were fresh and the cream was fluffy.
