Meet Mr. Josh!
The Media Center has a new clerk that started last semester, Mr. Josh, and we were given the opportunity to learn more about the new staff member through an interview. Here’s all you need to know about the friendly new media center clerk!
Mr. Josh has been described as a pleasure to work with by the media center staff and has made quite an impression on students and staff alike. He along with the other media center clerks oversee helping students with laptops, IDs, and finding books. He has many cool interests and hobbies, like buying and selling vintage toys, collecting sneakers, and playing video games. Mr. Josh is also a big fan of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, especially Donatello!
If you’re a fan of sushi, you’ll be thrilled to know that Mr. Josh owns a Japanese restaurant in Romeo called Yorokobi Sushi that’s been open for 12 years. His impressive culinary background in an established restaurant is truly amazing, and students are encouraged to try out the restaurant for themselves.
Mr. Josh loves meeting new students and helping staff when he can, and he is very excited about being able to work at Dakota. He said during the interview, “I love the job, the kids motivate me to come in every day, and I love to meet the new kids and help them out the best I can and be an inspiration to them.” When asked what his goals were for the next 5 years, Mr. Josh responded “I want to really cement myself here as part of the staff at Dakota and get hired full time.”
Whenever you find yourself in the Media Center, be sure to say hello to Mr. Josh and the rest of the amazing Media Center staff here at Dakota.
