After almost 4 years out of the music realm, Eminem (a.k.a Marshall Mathers) is back. He is no stranger to the disappearing act; Shady has disappeared for at least a year after almost every album release. While many fans were happy with his long-awaited return, many people were surprised by his sudden appearance in the charts.  

P!nk released an unannounced collaboration with Eminem in October of this year, which caught many people off guard and led them to wonder if the ‘Rap God’ singer was going to make an abrupt comeback. Eminem let the fans ponder his return for about a month, and then, without warning, released a song featuring Beyoncé on November 10th.

His music has been under deep speculation due to the fact that his alleged comeback came after he went off on President Donald Trump on October 11th, which has led many people to believe it was just a massive PR stunt to get news stirred up about the artist. Mathers is also under the microscope because he seems to have come back with softer lyrics.   

Every time Eminem comes back, he seems to reinvent himself. With a new sound, new collaborators, and undying fans, no matter what Mathers does it is almost a guaranteed success. Even when he goes “off the grid,” there are always patient fans waiting.
