Update from Zachary Veal: “Rain & Near-Record Temps are both on their way for tomorrow! Details Below!”
THIS EVENING: Cloudy skies and a bit mild too around Metro Detroit on this Monday evening along with both temperatures falling from flirting with the middle 40s before sunset into the low 40s afterwards and very light winds E at only 3-6 mph.
TONIGHT: Cloudy skies with rain moving into Metro Detroit beginning after 2am tomorrow morning, and it could be heavy at times too, leading to maybe both some pooling and ponding on the roads along with both overnight low temperatures holding steady in the low 40s and light winds E at only 5-10 mph.
TOMORROW: A very rainy start to your Tuesday around Metro Detroit as we both get up and get going for either work, for the parents, or for school, for the kids, to both morning low temperatures starting out in the low 40s and very wet roadways due to the rain as there may be both some pooling and ponding on them. So, take your time driving bus drivers, parents, and kids so that you won’t slide out there on those wet roads. But the afternoon hours will be under mainly mostly cloudy skies with perhaps some isolated thunderstorms, in spots, too around Metro Detroit along with both daytime high temperatures flirting with 60F which means that we will have a daytime high temperature of 59F which will tie our record high temperature of 59F set back in 1950 and light winds SSW at only 5-10 mph.
WEDNESDAY: Mainly mostly cloudy skies with perhaps some scattered showers, in spots, too around Metro Detroit along with both daytime high temperatures flirting with 50F and light winds once again SSW at only 5-10 mph.
THURSDAY: Much colder under mainly mostly cloudy skies with perhaps a chance for a light wintry mix, in spots, too around Metro Detroit along with daytime high temperatures falling down into the middle-to-upper 30s.
FRIDAY: Mainly mostly cloudy skies once again with perhaps some light snow showers possible, in spots, too around Metro Detroit as we wrap up both this work and this school week along with a daytime high temperature of only 32F which is the freezing mark.
THIS WEEKEND: Mainly partly cloudy skies with perhaps a slight chance for some light snow, in spots, too around Metro Detroit on your Saturday along with daytime high temperatures only in the low 30s. But on your Sunday as both you and your family commute both to and from both morning church services and brunch, we will be under mostly cloudy skies along with daytime high temperatures rising into the middle 30s.
Enjoy the rest of your Monday, Metro Detroit, and have a wonderful week ahead too!!
