In the 21st century, sneakers have become somewhat of a novelty, rather than just something to protect your feet. Many sneakers get released every month in all sorts of colorways and unique shapes. Here are some of the sneakers set to release in the upcoming weeks:  

Nike Dunk Low “Dark Driftwood”  

Nike continues to deliver different colorways in their most popular sneaker of the past few years, the dunks. With Autum approaching, the earth tones paired with the black and white makes a great combination for the time of year. The “Dark Driftwood” dunk lows are set to release on November 22nd and will retail at $110. 

Pharrell x Adidas NMD Hu greyscale animal print 

Pharrell’s Human Race collection was one of the most popular sneakers of 2017-2018. Although the shoe hasn’t been very popular in recent years, Pharrell continues to release new variants and colorways. The new grey scale animal print pattern is his latest design and demonstrates more of Pharrell’s creative capabilities. The greyscale NMDs are to release November 28th. 

Nike Dunk Low “Green velvet” 

As Nike continues to deliver new colorways in the dunks, new and more unique materials are making appearances on the shoe Aswell. Although the velvet has shown up on the rare “strange Love” collab dunks, the “Green Velvet” will be the first velvet pair in a more mass-produced version of the sneaker. The Green Velvet Dunks will be in women’s sizes only and will be released on November 30th. 

“The Grinch” Adidas Forum 

With Christmas right around the corner, many people are getting in the Christmas spirit, along with adidas. Adidas is releasing a new colorway in their popular Forum sneakers, inspired by the most iconic Christmas cartoon character, The Grinch. The shoes will come with a limited-edition box and keychain specific to the shoe and the shoe will be released on December 1st. 

The new sneaker releases show that there is still many creative ideas coming from the biggest brands and the sneaker scene will continue to grow and change. There are many more sneakers set to release in the upcoming weeks and they would make great gifts for a friend or family member.
