Update from Zachary Veal: "Tracking Both Really Cold Temps & Tuesday Trouble!"

THIS MORNING: Partly cloudy skies and very cold too around Metro Detroit on this Monday morning along with both morning temperatures rising from the middle-to-upper 20s early on into the middle-to-upper 30s later on and light/variable winds blowing which means that there is not really a wind chill issue out there meaning that both our actual temperatures and our wind chills are identical to each other as you head both out and about. So, a heavy jacket, sweatshirt, or a heavy hoodie might be a good idea to both put on and wear as both your children stand out at their bus stops while they wait for their buses to arrive and while you, as parents, either walk or bike to work.

TODAY: Partly cloudy skies and very chilly too around Metro Detroit along with both daytime high temperatures a degree either north or south of 40F and light/variable winds blowing.

TOMORROW: A mostly cloudy and cold start once again to your Tuesday around Metro Detroit as we both get up and get going for either work, for the parents, or for school, for the kids, to morning low temperatures starting out in the low 30s in our Metro Zone, or in our Urban Heat Island, but likely in the 20s outside of our Urban Heat Island in our typically cooler rural areas, as WDIV’s meteorologist Paul Gross likes to say! But the afternoon hours will be under mainly mostly cloudy skies with some light showers likely, in spots, along with both daytime high temperatures a degree either north or south of 40F once again and light winds ENE at only 5-12 mph.

WEDNESDAY: Mainly mostly cloudy skies with a chance for a light wintry mix, in spots, around Metro Detroit along with a daytime high temperature of only 40F.

THURSDAY: Mainly mostly cloudy skies with a chance for a light wintry mix, in spots, once again around Metro Detroit along with daytime high temperatures falling down into the upper 30s.

FRIDAY: Mainly mostly cloudy skies with a chance for some light snow showers, in spots, around Metro Detroit as we wrap up both this work and this school week along with daytime high temperatures flirting with the freezing mark.

THIS WEEKEND: Partly cloudy skies, very cold, and a bit breezy too on both your Saturday and on your Sunday around Metro Detroit along with daytime high temperatures dropping down into the upper 20s on your Saturday, and then, a daytime high temperature of only 30F on your Sunday as both you and your family commute both to and from both morning church services and brunch.

Enjoy the rest of your Monday, Metro Detroit, and have a wonderful week ahead too!!
