Update from Zachary Veal: "Last Day of Nice Weather Before a Weekend Trifecta of Rain, Wind, & Much Cooler Temps!"

THIS MORNING: Mostly sunny skies and mild too around Metro Detroit on this “Finally Friday” along with both morning temperatures rising from the low 50s early on into the low 60s later on and light winds S at 5-12 mph as you both head out and about. So, a jacket, sweatshirt, or a hoodie might be a good idea to both put on and wear as both your children stand out at their bus stops while they wait for their buses to arrive and while you, as parents, either walk or bike to work.

TODAY: A transition from partly to mostly cloudy skies around Metro Detroit along with both daytime high temperatures soaring well into the low 70s and breezy conditions too SSW at 7-17 mph, gusting 20-25 mph, at times too!

TOMORROW: Very windy with some rain showers too, in spots, around Metro Detroit on your Saturday along with both daytime high temperatures remaining in the low 70s, just like today, and very windy conditions too S at 15-25 mph, gusting 30-45 mph, at times too! So, we will continue to track these gusty winds for tomorrow afternoon as the NWS (aka: the National Weather Service) may have to issue a “WIND ADVISORY” if we see widespread wind gusts exceeding 40 mph over all of both Metro Detroit and Southeastern Michigan. So, please stay tuned!

Oh, and by the way, don’t forget to move your clocks back one hour before going to bed tomorrow night due to Daylight Saving Time (no “s”) ending at 2am EST. on your Sunday. And it also would not be a bad idea to change your batteries in all of your smoke alarms, your carbon monoxide detectors, and your flashlights!!

SUNDAY: Mostly sunny skies, cooler, and still a bit breezy too around Metro Detroit along with both daytime high temperatures flirting with the middle 60s and breezy conditions too SW at 5-15 mph, gusting 15-20 mph, at times too as both you and your family commute both to and from both morning church services and brunch.

Enjoy the rest of your “Finally Friday”, Metro Detroit, and have a wonderful weekend ahead too!!
