Smile Movie Review
The new movie “Smile” directed by Parker Finn has been a popular spectacle among horror fans. Smile is Parker Finns first movie. The movie is about a therapist who sees her patient pass away in a gruesome way right in front of her. Following the event, she starts seeing people stalking her with evil, creepy smiles stalking her everywhere that she goes. These people haunt her life, and she seems crazy to everyone else because no one else can see the people. The suspense that each scene builds, and the generous amount of jump scares makes a great viewer experience with the classic horror vibe. The jump scares are very well-directed, and the movie had a good amount. The tension building is an element that Finn used very well through sound design. Wheater it be the creeks or the bass, the sounds in each scene immerses the viewer and built suspense. Although the ending felt a bit cartoonish, it wasn’t a bad way to end the story line, as it sets up the opportunity for a sequel. Overall, the film was well produced and worth the watch.
