THIS MORNING: A transition from partly cloudy skies early on to mostly sunny skies later on around Metro Detroit on this Thursday morning along with both very chilly morning temperatures rising from the middle-to-upper 30s early on into the middle 40s later on and light winds NNW/NNE at only 5-10 mph making it feel like it is only in the middle 30s (for wind chills) as you head both out and about. So, a jacket, hoodie, or a sweatshirt most likely may be needed to stay both nice and warm as both your children stand outside at their bus stops while they wait for their buses to arrive or while you either walk or bike to work.
TODAY: Mostly sunny skies and a bit cool too around Metro Detroit along with both daytime high temperatures only in the low 50s and light winds NE at only 5-10 mph which means that both east-siders and our Thumb area will be slightly cooler as those winds will be blowing off of both Lakes Huron and St. Clair compared to those inland away from those 2 lakes as it will be a bit warmer there inland, of course.
TOMORROW: A partly cloudy and cold start to your “Finally Friday” around Metro Detroit as we will wake up one last time for either work, for the parents, or for school, for the kids, to morning low temperatures starting out in the upper 30s to flirting with 40F in the Metro Zone, or in the Urban Heat Island, but likely starting out in the middle 30s outside of the Urban Heat Island in our typically cooler rural areas, as WDIV’s meteorologist Paul Gross likes to say! But the afternoon hours should be under both mostly sunny skies and cool conditions once again too along with both daytime high temperatures rising into the upper 50s and light winds E at 5-10 mph.
SATURDAY: The good news in our weather forecast is your Saturday as we will be under mostly sunny skies along with daytime high temperatures rising into the low 60s. So, it should be dry as you head both to and from the big rivalry game at the Big House in Ann Arbor as MSU travels to take on U of M Saturday night starting at 7:30pm ET. with the Paul Bunyan Trophy on the line. And temperatures will be in the upper 50s to right around 60F as both you and your family are tailgating but falling down into the low 40s as you leave the game to head back home.
SUNDAY: Mostly cloudy skies around Metro Detroit along with daytime high temperatures a degree or two north or south of 60F as both you and your family commute both to and from both morning church services and brunch.
MONDAY/HALLOWEEN 2022 PREVIEW: Mostly cloudy skies with scattered showers possible around Metro Detroit along with a daytime high temperature of only 60F. But unfortunately, for the kids who are going trick-or-treating Monday night, they may to bring an umbrella just in case because there is a chance that we may see some light rain showers around under mainly partly cloudy skies, so please stay tuned because it is still too early to bank on those rain chances. But of course, both me and the ZV WEATHER FORECASTERS will keep both you and your family up to date!
Enjoy the rest of your Thursday, Metro Detroit!!
