Food Review: Polish Village Café
If you’re willing to drive the way to Hamtramck or are in the area and are interested in getting good, authentic Polish food, then Polish Village Café is the place to go. Located at 2990 Yemans street, Polish Village Café is a small, authentic Polish restaurant. The menu had a variety of Polish dishes, from stuffed cabbage to pork chops. I decided on the Polish plate to get a taste of everything.
Bread and butter were on the table when you sat down. A cup of soup was included with all of the dinner items. With my dinner I decided to get Chicken noodle soup and it was wonderful. The Polish Plate consisted of a pierogi, stuffed cabbage, a chunk of kielbasa, sauerkraut and mashed potatoes. The plate was a true taste of authentic polish food and I would go back again.

After growing up eating my grandparents homecooked Polish food, Polish village is the ONLY place I will go to get pierogi, golabki, etc. Reminds me that I need to take my kids there so they can experience their heritage since my grandparents are gone.

Polish Village is absolutely the most authentic place to experience Polish cuisine. I grew up eating alot of Polish food and this place isthe closest to home cooking I have ever found. The supposed restaurants that serve Polish food in any of the suburbs can’t hold up toPolish Village. It is so good there that my son tipped the cooks there. You won’t be disappointed when you go there.

The food us simply amazing. We’ll worth the ride. It’s casual and seating is snug and homey.. Will go back and share the experience with family and friends.
