Over the past couple weeks, Wordle has taken over Dakota by storm.

Now you might think that the name Wordle was Word and riddle combined. However, It was just a coincidence, it was really just a play on the creator, Josh Wardle’s last name. The word ‘riddle’ had nothing to do with it.

Josh created Wordle for his partner who is a lover of word games.

Don’t go searching the app store, you won’t find it.

Wordle has one word per day, its not a levels game.

You have six tries to guess a five letter word.

If one of your letters is green it means that it is in the right place

If its yellow, its in the word but not in that place

If it is not colored it is not included in the word and will be blocked out on your keyboard

However, It will not indicate if there is a double letter.

TIPS:

-Josh doesn’t end his words with ‘S’s

-Try to do the words incorporating the most vowels

-A good starting word with 4 vowels is Adieu

PSA:

if you do not guess the word after 6 tries it will tell you the word and you will have to wait until the next day for a new word.

You will most likely feel dumb because it is a very common word and you should have thought of that(This is a very common feeling for me)
