Fall Guide: What to Watch
Happy fall! The summer temperatures have finally left us and it is time for sweater weather. That also means grabbing a cup of your favorite hot beverage and gathering around to watch TV with your loved ones.
But what do you watch? Well, look no further. Below is a list of TV shows, description included, for those ready for that autumn air.
Marvel’s Inhumans: (air date: Sept. 29 on ABC)
Based on the Marvel comics, this TV show centers around superhero’s in an isolated community who are fighting to protect themselves.
The Mayor: (air date: Oct. 3 on ABC)
This TV show centers around a struggling hip hop artist who, in order to promote his mixtape, runs for and eventually wins, the title off mayor.
Kevin (Probably) Saves the World: (air date: Oct. 3 on ABC)
In this show, Kevin, a man typically down-on-his-luck, is tasked to save the world by God.
Will and Grace: (air date: Sept. 29 on NBC)
Will and Grace is back for another season on NBC! This “new” show is actually a sort of reboot for this extremely popular show! With the same cast, same humor, and the same good feels as it did in the past, this show is sure to entertain.
The Good Doctor: (air date: Sept. 25 on ABC)
Shawn Murphy, a young man with Autism and savant syndrome, is an extremely talented surgeon. The show focuses on his journey and struggles in a prestigious hospital to which he is recruited.
The Gifted: (air date: Oct. 2 on Fox)
In a world where the very mention of the word mutant produces fear, a mutant institution fights to co-exist with humans regardless of their trust issues.
Riverdale: (air date: Oct. 11 on the CW)
Loosely based on the Archie comics, this TV show is back for a second season on the CW. The show centers on a group of friends exploring the dark, creepy, and weird occurrences beginning to happen. They soon find out that their happy small town isn’t as happy as they once thought.
Stranger Things: (air date: Oct. 27 on Netflix)
Back for season two, this Netflix series features a group of friends thrust into the supernatural when, after the mysterious disappearance of their friend, a girl by the name of Eleven shows up. The dark events that follow have sucked many viewers in, entertaining them from episode 1.
The Orville: (air date: Sept. 10 on Fox)
This show follows the lives of the crew aboard a dysfunctional ship, in the Earth’s interstellar fleet, 400 years in the future.
