Taylor has had a very busy weekend. Thursday night, she joined Seth Meyers and Jimmy Fallon for their late night talk shows. She talked about her re-recordings of her albums, as well as her collaboration with Phoebe Bridgers for her song “Nothing New” on Seth Myers. On Jimmy Fallon, she talked about her Easter Eggs, the 10 minute version of “All Too Well”, and played Box of Lies. On Saturday Night Live, she performed her ten minute version of her song “All Too Well” and performed a skit. During the weekend, she also released her self-directed short film of “All Too Well- 10 minute version”. The premier of this short film was released at 7:00 pm EST Friday night, starring Sadie Sink and Dylan O’Brian. This short film features the realness of a relationship, from the good to the bad. The acting is absolutely amazing, and I loved the vulnerability the was portrayed throughout the film.

On Monday at 10:00 am, Taylor released a music video, directed by Blake Lively, for her song “I Bet You Think About Me” ft. Chris Stapleton. Many Easter Eggs have been suspected throughout the video, and the fans are loving the details that she includes. Throughout the video, Taylor plays a character that slowly destroys her ex-lover’s wedding; as she knows that he is still in love with her.

Looking at the features in Red, Phoebe Bridgers is the first female in a Taylor Swift song to get a full verse to sing. Her feature in the song “Nothing New” exemplifies the realness that females face in society, as well as trying to figure out your place in the world. The song reminds me a lot of Phoebe’s style, and I think she was the perfect fit for this collaboration. Another collaboration that I love is Ed Sheeran’s work with Taylor. The vault track titled “Run” is the first song that Taylor and Ed wrote together, and I love it. Ed is also featured on the song from the original version, “Everything Has Changed”. I believe that these two work very well together, and I love seeing that they can both do what they love together.

Throughout the re-recorded album, Taylor changed some of her songs to fit the desires of her fans. Although these changes can be subtle to the ears of her listeners, her fans are able to point out most changes. Her fans are very dedicated, and they love to point out all the possible Easter Eggs that are in Taylor’s work. She loves to bond with her followers and communicate with them regularly, holding a close bond to her fans.

Thursday, Taylor released a recording of her 10 minute song “All Too Well” from the Long Pond Studio. She has previously recorded “Folklore: The Long Pond Studio Sessions” at this location, and she decided to release her version of “All Too Well” in the same location. This was a surprise to her audience, and now her fans are curious as to what she will do next.

Taylor Swift has continuously touched the hearts of many listeners. Red (Taylor’s Version) has shown the realness of heartbreak and growing up, and many fans can connect in their own way. The 30-song album encapsulates many aspects of the personal trouble Taylor went through during her early 20’s. The re-release of this album gave Taylor the recognition she deserved from 2012. If you are looking for a good comfort album, Red is your best choice. The record-breaking statistics from the release has now proved that her hard work has paid off. So now the question is, what’s next?
