Sweet but can also be sour 

Has a variety of colors 

It breathes and eats  

But does not sleep or move 

Its seasonal, but also common

During Halloween it’s always in sight 

It’s savory and sweet 

 has a variety of shapes 

And doesn’t do well in heat 

It comes out at night 

Lives beyond the world of touch and feel 

It disappears at light 

It can hunt and kill  

Turns living to dead
