How to Stay Safe and Spooky This Halloween

How+to+Stay+Safe+and+Spooky+This+Halloween

This Halloween is a little different this year, you may think it’s not worth celebrating since you can’t go trick-or-treating or go to a high school party, but there are still many ways to have fun this Halloween season! Here are 4 ways to stay spooky in October.

Throw A Family Halloween Party

Decorate the house, dress up, and make some fun Halloween themed treats. There’s no better way to get in the spirit than some decorations, without them it’ll just seem like a regular day. It could be as simple as changing up your throw pillows/blankets, or you can go all out and go nuts with your front yard.

Get Some Pumpkins!

Get some pumpkins and have some fun, there’s so many options to work with. You can do the good-old fashion and carve them into jack-o’-lanterns, or you can be creative and carve it into, well anything you want. When carving, don’t forget to save the seeds for roasting! Don’t want to carve the pumpkin and get messy? No worries! You can paint the pumpkin instead.

Have A Movie Marathon

Take advantage of Netflix Party and host a movie night with friends from all over. Watch the classics such as the Halloweentown series, Hocus Pocus, and The Nightmare Before Christmas. If you really want to get together with friends, you could host a movie night in the backyard with a projector.

Decorate your face mask(s)

Get creative, the bottom half of your face could look like a skeleton, zombie, or jack-o’-lantern. The sky’s the limit, you could even match the mask to your costume. If you don’t want to go all out, you could still add some Halloween stickers to your mask.

Have fun and remember to stay safe out there!
