Macomb Dakota receiver Leon Preston makes a catch against Pointe South defender Max Gavagan during the second half at Grosse Pointe South high school Friday, Oct. 2, 2020.

Its week three of Highschool football! And this week’s matchup is Macomb Dakota (1-1) at Grosse Pointe South (2-0).  After a tough loss last week against Stevenson the cougars look to go out and beat a red-hot GPS team that just dominated 2 very talented teams the Eisenhower Eagles and the Romeo Bulldogs.

The cougars started off strong after a blocked field goal by DE ‘Javion Stepney The cougars were quick to strike with a touchdown by Caiden Sloan.  And after that the cougars never looked back with a quick field goal by Kollin Kralap Before halftime.

The second half was just like the first for the cougars started off with great tackles by Eric Reese and Jack Murry.  A little slow on offense though as they only score on another field goal by Kollin Kralapp.  The offense of Dakota was able to score another touchdown as Preston Leon lead the team down the field, he had 4 catches for 107 yards.  The cougars held off and won 21-7 and they look to build on this win as they play home VS LCN.
