Many schools in Detroit have reopened, but parents are furious. There were many protests wanting the students to go back to school virtually, for the safety of their children. On Channel 4 News, Governor Gretchen Whitmer states, “ We cant manage all district Policies, but we do want the district, teachers, and parents to actively form a good plan.”, pretty much saying that it’s all up to the teachers and district to call the shots. While many students in Macomb want to go back to school, the Chippewa Valley district is trying to stay on the safe side by using the stay at home method.
