On September 4, 2019, one of Michigan’s government officials, Gretchen Whitmer, was the first from Michigan to ban electric cigarettes that also come with different flavors for them which caused teens (and even adults) to vape more. Also, vaping is also very addicting which has the chemical nicotine in it. Last November, New York began taking steps to cancel the sales for e-cigarettes. She wanted to do this because vaping isn’t good to do becauseit can cause major problems with your lungs and it can cause damage. The chemical nicotine, is a very addictive chemical, which causes teens to vape more since that chemical is in there, along with other chemicals. So, in order to prevent this from happening, someone has to put a stop to it.
