The Dakota Boys and Girls Basketball teams continue to fight tough competitors as their season comes close to a finish. The Boys Basketball Team is now 11-5 overall, heading to their second MAC Red Tourney game at Roseville, this Tuesday, February 12th. The boys continue to  work hard and improve their gameplay everyday. When asked, Team Captain Evan Messing says, “The one major key that contributes to our success is that we always play together no matter what.” The Girls Basketball Team is 8-8, with a very tough schedule ahead of them. The girls fight every game like its a battle and push each other to do the best they can. Also Team Captain, Olivia Dameron says, “I believe that my team will make it through districts and regionals and will make it to states. I wouldn’t want to go into playoffs with any other team.” The girls next game is this Thursday, February 14th. Both teams would love to have support, so make sure you come out and cheer on your Dakota Cougars!
