Rapper Tekashi 6ix9ine Arrested on charge of Racketeering

On November 18th, 2018, 22-year-old Daniel Hernandez, more known as the New York rapper, Tekashi 6ix9ine was arrested. He was arrested on charge of racketeering; racketeering is when organized groups are involved in illegal crimes like: trafficking illegal drugs, engaging in armed robberies, murder, etc. The rapper proved himself of being non-guilty of these charges.

Tekashi’s Blood associated gang TreyWay were on account of committing these crimes which led to the imprisonment of the rapper. His sentence is a minimum of 32 years within federal containment on these charges which would schedule his release to be some time 2050.

On November 26, 2018, at 69’s first trial, evidence was shown before the court in the implication that it proves the charges against 69 are legitimate. A photo of a firearm found in 69’s Brooklyn apartment in April of this year was shown in connection to an armed robbery that took place that month that may have involved the rapper.

Tekashi 6ix9ine’s lawyer, Lance Lazzaro, responded to the statements an evidence given to the court saying the rapper was “completely innocent of all charges.”
