- Gonzaga – Gonzaga is the number 1 team in the country for basketball. after beating on of the best teams (duke) the were made number one in the country, Gonzaga in now 7-0 in the season and plan to go far.
- Kansas- Kansas has always been one of the top college programs in basketball history. With an undefeated 5-0 record. One of their top performers this season so far is senior guard Lagerald Vick. He averages 20 points per game and plays 35 minutes a game.
- Duke- this year duke has one of the best college teams ever. They have 3 true freshman that were all rank top 5 or lower in high school. Duke has a record of 7-1 with their leading scorer Zion Williamson with 30 points per game. with help from R.J Barret and cam reddish.
- Virgina- Virgina has a record of 7-0. Leading the cavaliers is #12, 6’7, sophomore De’Andre Hunter with 16 points per game and plays 30 minutes a game.
- Nevada- Nevada takes the #5 spot with an 8-0 record. This is very surprising, Nevada is not usually ranked this high in the rankings. Leading Nevada is Caleb Martin with an average of 20 points a game and 33 minutes a game.
