-Sunday Night Football contained an interesting matchup between the New England Patriots and Detroit Lions at Ford Field. The Lions would come out victorious giving new head coach, Matt Patricia, his first win in the Motor City. Patricia, who was previously the defensive coordinator in New England for many years knew many weaknesses about his old team beating the legendary Patriot’s coach, Bill Belichick. This was a pivotal game for both teams as the Lions needed a win to avoid starting 0-3, and the Patriots now fall two games back from the division leaders, the Miami Dolphins.

Kerryon Johnson gave the Lions fans something to cheer for, being the first running back to rush for 100 yards since Reggie Bush in 2013 (70 games). The Lions took control early driving down the field methodically and cautiously, keeping Brady on the sideline. A late interception by Darius “Big Play” Slay sealed the victory for Detroit. The final score would end up 26-10. The Lions look to keep their winning going when they travel down to Dallas to play the Cowboys next week.
