First NFL game of the season

We kicked off the first NFL football game of the year on Thursday September 6th, between the Philadelphia Eagles and the Atlanta Falcons. The Eagles are coming off a big year last year after winning the Superbowl. The eagles are still without their starting quarterback Carson Wentz and they are relying on backup quarterback Nick Foles. The Falcons are hoping to take advantage and start the game off right and come up with the win in the end. In the first quarter, Matt Ryan and the Falcons start out with the early lead by getting a field goal in the first. In the second, the eagles march down the field and end up kicking a field goal to tie the game, in the same quarter the Falcons get down the field and kick another field goal to have the lead at half 6-3. The Eagles started out the half with the ball and end up marching down the field and with the first score of the year by Jay Ajayi the Eagles running back with the 6 yard touchdown run. The Eagles would feed off this momentum throughout the 4th quarter and Jay Ajayi would score another touchdown run and the Eagles would come up with the win in the end and kick off their season right with the score being 18-12 Eagles.
