2018 NBA Finals Preview

For NBA fans, this years NBA Finals leave a lot to be desired. This year it is the Cleveland Cavaliers vs. Golden State Warriors for the fourth consecutive year, which is leaving a lot of fans upset that there is not a new team this year. With all that being said, let’s take a look at the two teams in this years finals.

First up is the Western Conference Champion, the Golden State Warriors. The Warriors are lead by Kevin Durant. Durant averaged 26.4 PPG this season and has come through in the clutch for the Warriors this postseason. Also leading the Warriors is the splash brothers, Stephen Curry and Klay Thompson. Curry has had an injury riddled second half of the season, but came back in the second round and is heating up since. Thompson struggled in Games 1-5 in the Western Conference Finals. But came up big in Games 6-7 to lead the Warriors back to the Finals.

The other team represented in this years Finals is the Eastern Conference Champion, the Cleveland Cavaliers. The Cavs are solely led by one of the best to ever play the game of basketball, LeBron James. LeBron has averaged 27.5 PPG this season, and his put his team on his back the entire postseason through the toughest challenges. The Cavaliers would be nowhere near this point if it wasn’t for LeBron. Other than LeBron, the Cavs have some decent supporting players, such as Tristan Thompson, Larry Nance Jr., and Kevin Love.

My prediction: Warriors in 4, I just can’t see a team with a single player leading then beat a team full of all-stars. Game 1 begins tonight at 9:00 EST
