If you didn’t watch Beyoncé at Coachella this week then you’re living under a rock!

Beyoncé first took the stage of the popular music festival on Saturday April 14 as the first woman of color to headline Coachella. Making up for canceling her performance from last year due to her pregnancy, Beyoncé -the Queen Bee- did not come to play, singing 26 songs. Beyoncé brought the HBCU experience to Coachella by bringing a 200 person HBC marching band along with a drum line and majorette team. The stage resembled bleachers at a homecoming rally. Beyoncé also brought along special guests Jay Z and Solange and they had a dance off. She also reunited the best girl group of all time- Destiny Child by bringing along Kelly Rowland and Michelle Williams and they sang some of their hits and had the crowd going crazy. Beyoncé’s iconic performance shut down Coachella and officially named it Beychella!

But wait- we also need to talk about Queen Bee’s outfits showing black pride designed by Balmain. Coming out looking like the Queen of the Nile was beautiful.
