Dakota High School has the opportunity of a lifetime!
Dakota is proudly hosting a Staff vs. Sheriff basketball game on February 8^th at 7:00 p.m.! While the game seems great in itself, it is the story behind it that deserves all the support!

Dakota is hosting this game to raise money for the National Kidney Transplant organization. One of our very own Dakota seniors, Kenny Golder Jr., has had the opportunity of sharing his journey with us. He has just overcome a long process of having bad kidneys and he recently (successfully) got a kidney transplant. All of his friends were there to support him and his family throughout the lengthy process. Some of the adventures he had are in the pictures below!

The Dakota teachers that form some of the Staff team are: Mr. G, Mr. Voss, and Mr. Morrow! They have created an impressive line-up that is going to face-off against a team of Macomb County Sheriffs! Who doesn’t want to see their teachers try to beat sheriffs in a basketball game?!
