Free Tutoring

Free Tutoring

The Clinton Macomb Public Library (CMPL) is now offering free online tutoring. The homework help sessions are through tutor.com which is a Princeton Review service, and it is open from noon to midnight so it’s perfect for after-school help. Depending on the subject, professional tutoring generally costs $25 or more an hour, so having a free tutoring option can be a great way to save money. The tutor.com service costs $39.99 per hour for people who don’t have this free program through their library.

Students will need a library card to log in. A library card can be set up for free in person at the library or online on the CMPL website.

The Clinton Macomb Public Library has three different locations people can get a library card at. The Main Library Branch in off of Romeo Plank in Clinton Township, the North Branch is in Macomb Township on Broughton Road, and the South Branch is on South Gratiot in Clinton Township. During the week the libraries are open 9am to 9pm, but on Fridays and Saturdays the libraries have shorter hours because they close at 6pm. The Main Library is the only location open on Sundays from 12pm to 6pm.

Dakota students don’t need to get a regular library card because they already have a virtual one. All Chippewa Valley students can use their student IDs as their library card number. Their password will be the last four numbers of the phone number on file with the school. Students will be able to sign in to get a tutor.
