Dakota’s Book Tok
Dakota High School’s Media Specialist Ms. Groppuso has started a TikTok account. Books have become a big topic on TikTok, this is called book Tok. Book Tok is a side of TikTok where people talk about the books they’ve read, give reviews, and help people find books they want to read. Book Tok has become such a big thing that Barnes & Noble even has a table labeled book Tok with all the books circling on book Tok. Ms. Groppuso will be making videos about the library right here in Dakota High School. Dakota’s library has brought in many new books this year that pique the interest in teen readers. Even though school libraries are usually portrayed with few interesting books, Ms. Groppuso hopes to show that there are good books even ones talked about on book Tok. Ms. Groppuso will let people know about what books have been the most popular and help you find the writing style you prefer.
