What Is an Air Fryer? 

An air fryer is a countertop appliance that is almost like a small convection oven. It makes food in a way that leaves the outside crispy, and the inside soft and tender. Of course, not all foods are going to work best in an air fryer, but it could be a much cheaper and faster solution to using an oven; it is also a much healthier and better option compared to a microwave.  

 

Main Benefit of Using an Air Fryer 

  • Uses minimal oil, making it a healthier option compared to the radiation in microwaves 

The minimal oil reduces the fat and calorie content in the food; but the food is only as healthy as it was before going into the air fryer. Food does not become healthier by going into an air fryer.

Some universities may allow an air fryer in the dorm rooms, allowing a healthier and tastier way of cooking your food. It would be very beneficial to a college student because they are a safe appliance.
