Update from Zachary Veal: First Up, the Fog! Then, here comes Mr. Sun!!

THIS MORNING: Partly cloudy skies and very foggy too around Metro Detroit on this Thursday morning along with both temperatures rising from the upper 40s early on into the low 50s later on and light winds SSW at only 5-10 mph as you both head out and about. So, a jacket, sweatshirt, or a hoodie might be a good idea to both put on and wear as both your children stand out at their bus stops while they wait for their buses to arrive and while you, as parents, either walk or bike to work.

TODAY: Mostly sunny skies and warm too around Metro Detroit along with both daytime high temperatures rising into the upper 60s and light winds S at only 5-10 mph.

TOMORROW: A partly cloudy and mild start to your “Finally Friday” around Metro Detroit without any worries for any more patchy, dense fog thankfully as we both get up and get going one last time for either work, for the parents, or for school, for the kids, to wrap up both this work and this school week to morning temperatures starting out in the low 50s. But the afternoon hours should be under mostly cloudy skies, warm, and breezy conditions too along with both daytime high temperatures soaring well into the low 70s and breezy conditions too S at 10-15 mph, gusting 20-25 mph, at times too!

THIS WEEKEND: Very windy with some rain showers too, in spots, around Metro Detroit on your Saturday along with both daytime high temperatures falling down into the upper 60s and very windy conditions too S at 15-20 mph, gusting 30-45 mph, at times too! So, we will continue to track these gusty winds for Saturday afternoon as the NWS (aka: the National Weather Service) may have to issue a “WIND ADVISORY” if we see widespread wind gusts exceeding 40 mph over all of both Metro Detroit and Southeastern Michigan. So, please stay tuned! But on your Sunday as both you and your family commute both to and from both morning church services and brunch, we will be under both mostly sunny skies and cooler conditions too around Metro Detroit along with both daytime high temperatures falling down into the low 60s and much, much lighter winds thankfully compared to Saturday WSW at only 5-10 mph. Oh, and by the way, don’t forget to move your clocks back one hour before going to bed on Saturday night due to Daylight Saving Time (no “s”) ending at 2am EST. on your Sunday. And it also would not be a bad idea to change your batteries in all of your smoke alarms, your carbon monoxide detectors, and your flashlights!!

Enjoy the rest of your Thursday, Metro Detroit!!
