Update from Zachary Veal: Wintry Mix, to Snow, & Finally, to Just Plain Rain!

THIS MORNING: A transition from mostly cloudy to just cloudy skies around Metro Detroit on this Tuesday morning along with both temperatures only around 40F and winds picking up WNW at 7-17 mph, gusting 20-25 mph, at times too making it feel like it is only in the low 30s as you head both out and about. So, a jacket, hoodie, or sweatshirt most likely may be needed to stay both nice and warm as both your children stand outside at their bus stops while they wait for their buses to arrive or while you either walk or bike to work.

TODAY: Cloudy skies with some light rain showers around Metro Detroit too along with both daytime high temperatures flirting with the middle 40s and a stiff, cool breeze W at 8-18 mph, gusting 20-26 mph, at times too!

TOMORROW: A cloudy and cool start to your “Hump Day”, or Wednesday, around Metro Detroit with perhaps some numerous showers around too, in spots, as we both get up and get going for either work, for the parents, or for school, for the kids, to morning low temperatures flirting with 40F in our Metro Zone, or in our Urban Heat Island, but likely in the middle-to-upper 30s outside of our Urban Heat Island or in our typically cooler rural areas, as WDIV’s meteorologist Paul Gross likes to say! But the afternoon hours will be under partly cloudy skies with perhaps a chance for some scattered showers, in spots, mainly from between 11am and 7pm along with both daytime high temperatures only in the middle 40s and breezy conditions once again W at 8-18 mph, gusting 20-26 mph, at times too!

THURSDAY: Mostly cloudy skies around Metro Detroit along with both a daytime high temperature of 50F and breezy conditions once again SW at 10-15 mph, gusting 20-25 mph, at times too!

FRIDAY: Partly cloudy skies around Metro Detroit as we wrap up both this work and this school week along with both daytime high temperatures rising into the low 60s and warming winds SW at 5-15 mph, gusting 15-20 mph, at times too!

THIS WEEKEND: Mostly sunny skies around Metro Detroit on both your Saturday and on your Sunday along with daytime high temperatures flirting with 70F on your Saturday, but then, soaring into the low 70s on your Sunday as both you and your family commute both to and from both morning church services and brunch. So, please stay tuned as of course, it is still too early to bank on highs on both your Saturday and on your Sunday, both either hitting or breaking the 70F mark!!

Enjoy the rest of your Tuesday, Metro Detroit!!
