Spooky season: the one time when it is okay to eat pounds of candy and dress up in scary costumes. But the food is typically all the same: pumpkin flavored anything; it will sell big. What about caramel apple flavored things? That flavor deserves some love too!
Last year Alani Nu launched a limited-edition flavor “Witch’s Brew.” Stores quickly sold out of this funky flavor, but what made it so good? The mysterious purple can is glistening with caramel drippings and sweet coated apples.
Upon trying the newfound flavor, I was beyond skeptical to put my mouth to the taste, surprisingly it had a nostalgic taste. The taste was like a Caramel Apple Pop, these suckers getting tossed into many treat bags on Halloween. Fizzy, sweet, and almost rich in a sense. The drink is exceedingly high in caffeine, reaching 200 milligrams. The taste can be swapped for one of those delicious sugary suckers.
For being something different for the holiday season, it is going to be something that many may have an open mind too. Alanis drinks are not to be consumed on a regular basis due to a high amount of caffeine. Fun festive drinks will bite your tongue this upcoming Halloween!
