Painted Parking Spots

As our Seniors prepare for their last year, there is one tradition that is soley dedicated to them: the purchase of a personalized parking spot. It’s the time of year when you’ll see seniors with all sorts of painting materials. It’s their opportunity to mark their spot. The administration has made this possible and many of us are beyond thankful. Seniors are eager to participate so they can have the freedom to create and design their very own personalized painted parking spot. After three long years you’ve finally arrived at your own custom spot; welcoming you into the new school year.

When trying to get to your parking spot, you need to be safe and strategic. By having a personalized parking spot, no one else can park in your painted spot. Many students demonstrated their creative skills through the painting of their spots. Take a look at the artistic displays below:

Caleb Weiand, Senior chose to paint one of Playboi Carti’s album covers.
Monika Gjorovski, Senior did a twist on one of Drake album covers stating,” Love listening to Drake and can mostly be late.”
Alexis Oltersdorf, Senior decided on painting a minion mentioning, “It matches my personality.”

For one lucky Senior, there’s still a chance. Cougar Cruise will be giving away one personalized free parking spot in the blue lot – 232. Any Senior wishing to participate will have to open Instagram and search @cougarcruisecarefully. When you find the post, it will direct you to follow and repost the picture on your story and make sure you tag the account.

It’s well worth your time to take a trip through the Dakota parking lot to experience the land of imagination and Cougar pride.
