DETROIT- Welcome to Tuesday night, Metro Detroit!

Sunset tonight is at 9:07 p.m. ET.

Wow! After 1 to 2 inches of rain that fell both overnight last night and earlier this morning, we got the rain to move out, the clouds to break apart, and the sun to come back out! What a reward!! But soak it all up while both you and your family can, because more rain is on the way starting both late, late tomorrow afternoon and early tomorrow evening! But first, let us focus on the here and now, shall we?!

Alrighty!! So overnight tonight, we will have mostly clear skies along with both overnight low temperatures flirting with the middle 50s and very light winds blowing from out of the north-northwest at around 5 mph. But there might even be some patchy, perhaps, dense fog in spots overnight tonight, as well, especially in areas that picked up a lot of rain both last night and earlier this morning. So, don’t forget to reduce your speeds out there on the roads tomorrow morning on your “Hump Day”, or Wednesday, as both you and your family make their commutes to either work, for the parents, or to school, for the kids, due to limited visibility!

Tomorrow morning’s sunrise on your “Hump Day”, or Wednesday, is at 5:57 a.m. ET.

THE REST OF THIS WEEK:

Your Wednesday morning will feature a transition from mostly clear to mostly sunny skies along with both a chance for some patchy, perhaps, dense fog in spots (so again as I reiterate, don’t forget to reduce your speeds out there on the roads first thing tomorrow morning as both you and your family make their commutes to either work, for the parents, or to school, for the kids, due to limited visibility!) and morning low temperatures starting in the low-to-middle 50s. But unfortunately, we don’t keep that sunshine all day long as the clouds will be on the increase during the afternoon hours as the skies transition from partly to mostly cloudy along with both daytime high temperatures only in the low 70s and very light winds blowing from out of the south-southeast at only 3 to 6 mph.

But showers will begin to move into Metro Detroit starting after 5pm tomorrow that will likely slow down both the afternoon and evening drive home from work. So, don’t forget to slow down on the roads due to them being both wet and sloppy!

Mostly cloudy skies and mild too Wednesday night along with overnight low temperatures flirting with the middle 50s.

Mostly sunny skies on Thursday with perhaps an isolated shower or two possible, mainly in our North Zone, along with daytime high temperatures flirting with the middle 70s.

Partly cloudy skies and mild too once again Thursday night along with overnight low temperatures flirting with the middle 50s once again.

Mostly cloudy skies on your “Finally Friday” with perhaps rain possible, mainly in our South Zone, along with daytime high temperatures flirting with the middle 70s once again, as we wrap up both the work and the school week right here in Metro Detroit.

Mostly cloudy skies and mild too once again Friday night along with an overnight low temperature of double nickels (or 55 degrees). So, wonderful weather to head out to dine outdoors for dinner for date night for both you and your sweetie indeed!

YOUR UPCOMING WEEKEND WEATHER FORECAST:

Partly cloudy skies and a little bit cooler than Friday on your Saturday along with daytime high temperatures only in the low 70s. And this is definitely good news in terms of the weather, of course, because all of the seniors at my high school (aka: Dakota High School on 21051 21 Mile Road in Macomb Township, Michigan) are graduating this Saturday at both 10 a.m. and at 2 p.m. (which is why everyone at school so far this week is relying on me to give a good weather forecast that has this Saturday bone dry and not wet, because who would want to have graduation out in the rain, lol). So, stay tuned Dakota the rest of this week as the weather could very well change, but let’s hope for the best and not the worst (meaning fingers crossed the graduation won’t get rained on)!!!

Partly cloudy skies and mild too once again Saturday night along with overnight low temperatures only in the low 50s.

Now, our forecast for your Sunday Funday has changed since yesterday. How come?! Well yesterday, I was thinking that Sunday would be under both partly cloudy skies and milder conditions. But now as of this evening, our computer models have Sunday under scattered showers along with cooler daytime high temperatures which will be only in the low 70s instead of the middle 70s which I was forecasting yesterday. So, umbrellas will likely be needed as both you and your family travel to and from both morning church services and brunch.

Mostly cloudy skies and mild too once again Sunday night along with an overnight low temperature of double nickels (or 55 degrees).
