Miggie to 3,000 Hits
On Saturday, April 23, 2022, Miguel Cabrera joined an elite club of only seven MLB players that has both 3,000 hits and 500 home runs.
Cabrera recorded his 3,000th career hit (as well as his 3,001st hit) against the Colorado Rockies while at home in Detroit. He is one of thirty-three players that have 3,000 hits, with two others in the club also being former Tigers players.
Miguel is the first Venezuelan player to reach 3,000 hits, and his family was there to celebrate this incredible milestone at Comerica Park.
