Puppy of the Week!

Puppy of the Week!

Hello Dakota! This week’s puppy of the week is Tim Stockman’s dog, Mia!

Mia is a Golden Retriever, which are known for how reliable, intelligent, and friendly they are. A fun fact about Golden Retrievers is that they are the 5th most popular dog bread worldwide! Tim got Mia in November of 2008, and her birthday was just a month before that on October 2nd! They got Mia at Walnut Grove Farms, located in New Haven, Michigan. Tim was 8 when he got Mia, and was able to spend almost all of his older childhood with his lovely puppy.

Mia’s favorite toys are a pink squeaky ball, sticks, and bones! She spends most of her time playing with them. Her favorite activity is chewing on her bone, smelling around in the backyard woods, chasing squirrels from the backyard, and laying in her puppy pool. Tim’s favorite activity with Mia is chasing her around and trying to get the toy in her mouth (he never does), and taking her on walks through the woods. Mia’s favorite snack is a pig knuckle or a brand new bone. Mia is fed in the morning around 8 a.m., and dinner at 6 p.m. Tim’s favorite memory of his dog was when he first saw her: he said she was the fluffiest doggo of her siblings.

“Mia isn’t the most loyal, lovable, and unbearably cute dog in the world. She is the most loyal, lovable, and unbearably cute dog of all the universe, and of all time” -Tim Stockman
