Blast off: CougarFest Launches
September 28, 2017
The annual CougarFest Family Tailgate is this Friday after the homecoming parade and everyone is invited! There will be live music, food trucks, bounce houses, games and raffles, and Dakota apparel!
Link Crew member, Sydney Pagano, 12th grader said the goal of CougarFest was to “promote local businesses and bring the community together,” it features local food trucks and donations from shops. Places that are the common for students to hang out at, like scoop and twist, will be on display for all.
Furthermore, Mr. Vernengo said that CougarFest is “a great way to show the community all of the great students and teachers at Dakota,” and their hard work getting this year started. Not to mention, the much anticipated performance by the widely known duo, Mr. McLeod and Mrs. Sarver. So make sure to come to CougarFest this Friday, September 29th from 5:30-7! If the weather on Friday isn’t good enough to host CougarFest, it will be moved to next week’s game against Chippewa.
